Report Cards
This is the last week students will get to turn in any missing or late assignments. Students have been reminded all this week about getting in any missing or late assignments because grades will be going out next week on Friday.

Holiday Food Drive
We are currently in the middle of a Holiday Food Drive, parents please donate any extra canned food items to those who need it this Holiday Season. Winning classes will receive a pizza party or an Eegee party, and I know everybody wants one of those for our class. Thank You.

Next Week
Grades will be going out on Friday December 20th, we will also be having an awards assembly that day for any student on Honor Roll or Perfect Attendance. Parents you are more than welcome to come on Friday and see your child get an award for this.

Reading- Beginning Number the Stars and analyzing facts versus opinion in writing.

Social Studies- Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam.

Upcoming Events 

The Holiday shop will be in the library the whole week. Shopping starts Tuesday right after school. 

Wednesday - Duds for Dollars 

Thursday- Cookie Dough arrives 

Friday- Quesadilla breakfast with principal, Quesadillas will cost $.50 each. 

* Annual Food drive goes until Holiday break please donate items to help those who are in need. 

There is only three weeks left until the end of the quarter, so make sure everything is getting turned in on time and any missing work is turned in as soon as possible. 

What we are doing... 

Math -Converting Metric units, U.S. units

Reading- Finishing the Giver, and integrating information presented in different media formats. 

Writing- Working on writing persuasive essay pieces

Science- Ecosystems, predators, prey, food chains. 

Social Studies- The origins of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism.
