Welcome Back...
Hopefully everyone had a very relaxing Spring Break. With Spring Break being done we have only a a few weeks left in the school year before we are done.

AIMS
Our class has been working hard all year to prepare ourselves for AIMS testing coming up on April 7th.  AIMS testing covers the core subjects of Math, Reading, and Writing and last that whole week. We at La Paloma are doing our best to boost our schools performance every year, our class is aiming to get positive growth from every single student. Parents you can help by making sure that your child is getting a good nights rest, breakfast, and snacks for this entire week. Also for this week gum is allowed in my classroom, their will also be no homework this week to give students brains a break after testing. Thank you.

This Tuesday we have a very exciting SPIN event happening from  6:00 - 7:30 on campus. This is a themed event where students use math skills to go from group to group to solve a crime.  The event itself is free to attend with the only fee coming if you would like to buy a family dinner starting at 6:00 p.m.  Students from my class who attend the Whodunit event will get the opportunity to replace their lowest math score from this quarter.
